$20 REWARD.
RANAWAY from the subscriber, living in Waynesborough, Tenn., a negro man named POMPEY, about 50 years old, of black complexion, heavy built, about 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, with a notable scar in his forehead, extending down between his eyes; he is a bricklayer by trade, and was raised in Nash county, N.C. He left me in this place on the 23rd of April last, and will doubtless try to get back to N. Carolina. I will give the above reward for his apprehension and commital to any jail and information given to me at Waynesborough so that I can get him.
WILLIAM KID.
