RUN AWAY from the subscriber's scooner [schooner] about ten days ago, a negro man named QUASH: he is a black well-set fellow, bow legged, and about 40 years of age, 5 feet and an half high, had on when he went away, a blue great coat, speckled shirt, and trowsers made of white plains, he is an artful rascal, speaks good English, has a wife at Mr. Champneys, and I hear he says he is free, and Probably will seek employ on board of vessels, as he understands caulking, is a jobbing carpenter and wheelwright. Any person that apprehends and brings him to me, or
to the warden of the work-house, shall have TEN POUNDS reward.

JAMES SKIRVING.
