TWELVE POUNS REWARD. RUN AWAY from the subcriber, living in the upper end of Albemarle county, on James River, the 31st of July last, a MULATTO MAN SLAVE named ISAAC, about 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, 35 years of age, has hazel eyes, has lost one of his upper fore teeth, has a flat nose, both of his legs are bumpy, onemore than the other, and has a bump on one of his hams about the bigness of a hickory nut; he stutters when he speaks fast, or is scaed; he carried with him a bearskin coat half worn, a white castor hat half worn, a pair of crocus trowsers, and some cloaths. The said fellow can hew, darw boards, tan leather, and make shoes and chairs. He may endeavor to pass for a free mulatto. Whosoever apprehends the said runaway, so that I may get him again, shall have 5 1. if taken in Virginia, and 12 1. if taken out of Virginia. SAMUEL SHELTON. Nov. 27, 1764.
