RUN AWAY from the subcriber about six weeks ago, a NEGROE MAN named DICK, about five feet eight inches high, very black, has one knee bigger than the other, a cooper by trade, speaks very good English, is very sensible and artful, well known in Sunbury and St. John's parish, where he was lately apprehended, but in his way home made his escape from the person who had him in charge, upon a stout likely dun coloured horse, about 14 or 15 and a half hands high, on which was a good saddle, bridle, and a wallet containing some books, &c. and has not been since heard of. It is supposed he is again gone southerly. Whoever apprehends said negroe, and delivers him in the work house in Savannah, or at Drapier's Hill, near Ebenezer, shall be paid TWENTY SHILLINGS STERLING more than the common or reasonable charge by FRANCIS ARTHUR. Nov. 6, 1767.
