THIRTY DOLLARS Reward.
RAN away on the 25th day of September, 1776, a Negro man named ADAM, about 24 years of age, very black, tall and slender, a cunning artful fellow, stammers a little when frightened, he formerly belonged to William Presbury, bricklayer, and was brought up to the bricklaying business; he ran away about 18 months ago, and got to Grubb’s Iron works, above Lancaster, in Pennsylvania: Had on when he went away, an old felt hat, old shoes, tow linen shirt and trousers, whitish coloured country cloth jacket much worn, has had the small-pox about 18 months ago, and has a remarkable large foot. Whoever takes up and secures said Negro, so as his master may have him again, shall have, if taken in the county, Five Pounds; if taken out of the county and in the State of Maryland, Seven Pounds Ten Shillings: and if out of the State the above reward, and reasonable charges, if brought home, from PETER BOND, living in Harford county, about six miles from Joppa.
