RAN away from the subscriber, on the 6th of June, living on Seneca, Montgomery County, state of Maryland. A molatto wench, named LUICE, about 23 years of age, a slave for life; she is little mark’d with the small pox, not very tall, but big limbs, is very artful, can tell a fair story, and perhaps may endeavour to pass for a free molatto: She took with her one red and white poplin gown, one white linen jacket and petticoat, one blue and white callico petticoat, one blue red and white striped lensee bed gown and petticoat; she is an exceeding good cook and spinner, but slo [sic]. Whosoever takes up the said slave, and brings her to her said master, shall receive a reward of fifty pound, continental currency; reasonable charges, if one hundred miles from home, paid by
