RUN away from Major Butler’s plantation in Prince William’s Parish, a Negro fellow named Quash, a cooper by trade, late the property of Mr. Maguire of North Carolina, and bought last October by Major Butler at Mr. Alexander Rose’s sale of Negroes. He is a strong made fellow, about five feet and a half high, rather fat, has a sensible look and speaks very intelligibly. He is marked a little above the right breast with the letters PB. Whoever delivers said fellow to Mr. Joseph Atkinson, merchant in Charles Town, or to the subscriber at Major Butler’s island in Prince William’s Parish, shall receive five pounds currency and reasonable expenses. James Fraser.
