RUN away from the subscriber, Negro Fellow named STATE , by trade a Cooper; He had on when he went away an old Wool Hat, a short grey Jacket with pewter Buttons, and an old Pair of Osnabrugs Trowses; He is about 5 feet 10 Inches high, walks upright, speakes very good English, in smooth faced and well made; He is supposed to be gone for Georgetown or Col. Maurice Simock's Plantation in St. John's, as he has Relations at both Places. Twelve Dollars reward will be given to any Person who apprehends said Negro, and delivers him to the Warden of the Workhouse, or to me on Gadsden's Wharf, and all reasonable Charges. Masters of Vessels for. warned to employ him, if they do after this Notice, they will prosecuted.

P.S. If said Negro should be found harboured by a white Person, Twenty Dollars will be paid on Convection, and if by a black 10 Dollars, exclusive of the 12 Dollars above mentioned.
