Ran-away from his Master Mr. Isaac Brewer, of Springfield, someme in May last past, a certain Negro Man Servant Named Anser, aged about 30 Years; he was a slim Fellow, midling for height, speaks good English, and is very handy and ingenious about almost any sort of Husbandry work, as also he is well acquainted with work within Doors, especially about Cooking and Dressing of Victuals: He had on when he went away, a grey drugget Coat something faded, a striped Callaminco Waistcoat, a good pair of Leather Breeches, a fine Shirt, a fine pair of Yarn Stockings, a Felt Hat, and a good pair of Shoes, but it is suppos’d his Cloathes are most of them worn out. Whosoever can find said Negro, and safely convey him to his said Master, shall have Ten Pounds Reward, and all necessary Charges paid. Springfield, Feb. 29, 1739, 40. Isaac Brewer.
