Ran away from his Master, Mr. Nathanael Brown of Salem, on
Wednesday the 4th of this Instant July, a Negro Fellow named Cuffe, about 20 Years of Age, a strait limb’d handsome Fellow of a middle Stature, plays upon a violin, and dances prey well. He carried away with him a Gray Woollen Coat, a brown Holland Coat a striped Jacket and Breeches, a pair of white Trouzers, sundry pair of Stockings, one of which is Blue and a new Felt Hat. All Master of Vessels and other Persons are hereby cauoned against harbouring, concealing, or carrying off the said Servant as they will avoid the Penalty of the Law in that Case made and provided. Whoever shall take up the said Servant, and bring him to his abovesaid Master in Salem, shall have Five Pounds Reward and all necessary Charged paid.
