RANAWAY FROM the undersigned, on Monday, 13th instant, at her residence near Washington, a mulatto boy, LEWIS, about 25 or 26 years of age, near 6 feet high—bushy hair— polite when spoken to—keen and shrewd. He is well known in Natchez, as the car-riage driver of the undersigned. Having made an attempt, some years since, to leave on a steamboat, it is thought he will endeavor to secrete himself on some steamer going up the river and thereby reach a free State. Captains of steamboats are requested to be on the look out for him. A liberal reward will be paid for his apprehension. ELIZABETH M. DANGERFIELD. Natchez, May 18, 1850-[?]&wtf
