RANAWAY from the subscriber, on the 22d inst., a Negro Slave named Edward, about 28 years of age, six feet high, of copper color, with a scar on one of his arms just above the wrist. Said boy has an excellent countenance and is quite intelligent. He was formerly owned by Dr. Hutchins, of Memphis, Tenn., and has been running as cook on board sundry steamboats on the Mississippi. I will give the above reward if said boy is taken out of the county and lodged in any jail so that I can get him, or twenty-five dollars if taken in this county. JOHN HUNTER. Natchez, Adams Co., Mi.
