WAS Commmitted to the Jail of Adams coun-ty on the 17th instant, a run-away, a negro girl who says her name is Nancy Smith, and also that she is free, that she was born in New York, and is a milliner by trade, that she served her time at that trade in Nova Scotia; she is rather of a yellowish complexion, about 6 feet high, well clothed, has a very modest appearance, says she is about 26 years of age.
