Vere, May 17, 1802. IN VESTRY. Fifty Pounds Reward. WHEREAS a most horrid and wilful MURDER has been committed by a Mulatto, named HARRY HAY, alias CALASH belonging to Vere estate, in this parish, on his Uncle, a Negro, who belonged to the said estate, where this crime was perpetrated: And whereas the said Harry Hay, alias Calash, has since absconded : The above reward will be paid to any person apprehending him, so that he may be safely lodged in any gaol or workhouse in this island.
