Forty Dollars Reward. RANAWAY from the Subscriber, on the first of March last, a Negro fellow named FRANK, Or FRANK BURR, of the age of thirty years, about five feet seven inches high, well dressed, and by trade a Bricklayer. FRANK was raised by John Devereux, Esq. of whom I purchased him; has a wife at the Plantation of Durant Hatch, jun.[junior] Esq.[Esquire] of Jones County, and his father lives at Mr. Pollock's farm near Trent Bridge. He is lazy, very talkative, and can read and write. I will give the above reward for his apprehension and delivery in Newbern Jail, and pay necessary expences; and THIRTY DOLLARS, if he is confined in any other Jail, so that I get him. He is probably lurking about the plantations of Mr. Pollock, on Roanoke, where he has connexions. JAMES G. STANLY. April 14, 1820.--108 tf.
