Transcription: $100 Reward. RANAWAY from the subscriber, on the 22nd of Dec'r, a negro man named Kit Boyd. Said negro was purchased of Mr. Thomas Hussey, of Tarboro', and is supposed to have gotten off the train at Rocky Mount and have made his way below Tarboro'. He is about 21 years old, dark complected, is 5 feet 5 inches high by measurement, had on when he left a yellow hat--took with him a large double blanket, gray or lead colored. I will give $100 Reward for his delivery in Richmond, Va., at Lumpkin's jail, to Hugh Hagan. P. S. Said boy is a cooper by trade. W. W. Wingfield. Jan'y 7, 1856. 2-5
