Ten Dollars Reward. Ran away from the subscriber, living in Oxford, Granville county, his negro man ANDERSON, of dark complection[sic], with a scar on his upper lip, which disfigures his mouth very much, 23 years old, about six feet high--none of his wearing apparel recollected. He is a house carpenter by trade, and is passing in the neighborhood of Raleigh for a free man, and calls his name William Anderson. I will give the above reward for the apprehension & delivery of said runaway to me in Oxford, or if confined in any jail in this State, or any of the adjoining States, so that I get him again.
