RUN away from the Subscriber, in Chesterfield, near Osborne's Warehouse, on Wednesday Night the 7th Instant (July) a Negro Fellow named STEPNEY, near thirty Years old, about five Feet ten or eleven Inches high, very black, and spare made; he plays a little on the Fiddle, is a Shoemaker by Trade, and had the Misfortune, some Years ago, to have one of his great Toes cut off, which I believe to be that of the right Foot. I imagine he will make for North Carolina, and endeavour to pass for a Freeman, as he took his Shoemaker's Tools with him. Whoever brings or contrives him to me shall have FIFTY SHILLINGS if taken in the Colony, and FIVE POUNDS if out thereof.
