RAN-AWAY from the subscribers, on Thursday the 7th instant, a negro fellow, named JOHN, a Taylor by trade, did formerly pass for a free man, and is well known in and about Charles-Town and Dorchester ; he went off in a canoe about twenty-two feet long, and three feet and an half over, outside painted yellow, stem and stern sheets blue, had places for two masts, and an iron plate over her stern; in said canoe he carried away a mast, sail, and two oars, the masts painted red, with a shive in the head of it, for brails. A reward of FIVE POUNDS Currency will be given for delivery of said fellow to the warden of the house-house, and ONE DOLLAR for delivery of said canoe, sail and oars, by
TORRANS, POAUG, & Co.
N.B. It is strongly suspected he is gone towards Dor-chester, where he lately lived.
