CHANCERY SALE - VALUABLE LAND AND SLAVES.
IN pursuance of an interlocutory decree of the chancery Court at Shelbyville, in the cause therein pending, wherein Isaac Hold was complainant and H H Holt and K M Pybus, Executors of Jordan C Holt, and others, were defendants, I will offer for sale on the premises on the
25TH DAY OF OCTOBER NEXT,
The following valuable tracts of land situate, lying and being in Rich Valley, Bedford county, Tenn., 4 1/4 miles South of Shelbyville, on the Shelbyville and Fayetteville Turnpike Road, and known as Jordon C Holt's Farm, containing about 390 Acres. On said Farm there is a good Brick Dwelling House, with Kitchens, Smokehouse, Stables, and a fine Orchard, all under good fence, and two fine springs of pure water, it is one of hte best Farms in Bedford county.
I will also sell at the same time and place on the other Farm containing about 193 Acres of first rate land, lying adjoining the above tract of land, on which there is a good Log House, with all necessary out buildings, and a fine Spring. Said lands will be sold on a credit of one and two years, bond and good securities will be required from the purchaser, and a lien retained until the purchase money is paid.
And on the same day and at the same time and place I will offer three valuable slaves, to-wit: Adam, a first rate Blacksmith, about 34 years of age; Sam, a very likely fellow, about 34 or 35 years old, and Americas about 11 years old. The Terms of the sale of the slaves will be made known the day of sale.
