Run-away, from the Subscriber, living at Flushing, ... A Negro Man Slave, called York, born in the Province of New York, speaks very fluent good English, 28 Years old, about 5 Feet 8 Inches high, well-made, and very black: It's likely he may pretend to be free, and have a Pass, as he attempted to get one some Time ago: He is a spry, active, complaisant Fellow, and the most ingenious with his Tongue and Hand, of any of his Colour; can make Bridles and Saddles, and understands the tanning Business, and farming, very well. *** William Keese.
