R A N A W A Y From the subscriber, seven days ago, NEGRO MAN TONEY, by trade a tailor, brought from St. Croix about three years since, aged about 26 years, he speaks plain, is slim made, about 5 feet 8 inches high; it is supposed he had on a coarse brown jacket, a hair or shag waistcoat with stripes of green, oznabrig overalls, and check shirt, the collar is lined with white linen; he generally wears a handkerchief on his head. Whoever will deliver him to the subscriber in Savannah, or lodge him in any gaol, shall receive six dollars reward, and all reasonable charges. S. BEECROFT. April 23, 1789.
