Ten Pounds Reward.
RAN AWAY, from the subscriber, on the night of Saturday the 16th Instant, a NEGRO MAN,* about twenty-three years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, has a kind of a dodging walk, is round-shouldered, stoops a good deal, and has a down-look when spoken to; he took with him, a gray mixed cloth coat, very good, with large yellow buttons, a black velvet jacket with a brown cloth back, green fustian breeches, black gray mixed worsted stockings, good shoes with buckles in them, a tolerably good felt hat, and a good white shirt —also, his working clothes, consisting of two shirts and two pair of trousers: He is an excellent Blacksmith, and his hands are a good deal marked on the backs, occasioned by the sparks of the forge—he may have a pass for aught I know, being very crafty. Any person, or persons, who will take up said Negro, and bring him home, shall receive the above reward; or, if it be not convenient to bring him home, on securing him so that I get him again, and sending information to me, at my dwelling-house, near King’s-Town, in Queen-Ann’s County, a reward of TWENTY DOLLARS will be paid, by
JOHN FOREMAN.
