FORTY DOLLARS REWARD.
Elk-Ridge Furnace,
Nov. 5, 1777.
RAN away, from the subscriber, on Sunday the 19th of October last, a Negro man, named OBLE, about 40 years of age, a short, thick well-set fellow, has some grey hairs in his head and beard, and is round shouldered. He formerly did belong to Mr. Amos Garret, Swan Creek, Harford county. He worked last summer, with Mr. Wells, ship-carpenter, at Fell’s-Point, Baltimore-Town, on the frigate. WHOEVER takes up the said Negro, and brings him home, shall have, if 10 miles, Twenty Dollars; and if 40 miles, the above reward, paid by
EDWARD DORSEY.
