Six Pounds Reward.
RAN AWAY, from the subscriber, living at Joppa, in Harford County, a NEGRO MAN, named JOE, about 25 or 26 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high; had on, when he went away, an oznaburg shirt and trousers, light-coloured cloth jacket, and an old felt hat, but it is uncertain what clothes he will appear in, as he is a very great rogue—he is an excellent sawyer, and has been accustomed to work in a ship-yard. Whoever takes up said NEGRO, and secures him in gaol, so that I may get him again, shall receive, if taken in the county, THREE POUNDS, and, if taken out of the county, the above reward, and reasonable charges, if brought home, paid by
JOSEPH PHIPPS.
