ESCAPED from the Jail of Adams County on the evening of the 5th inft. Henry L. Burney About 22 years of age, little beard, about 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, light complex-ion, auburn hair blue eyes has a large fcar under the right eye extending from the nofe nearly to the ear, flender form ; imprifoned on a charge of grand larceny. Alfo John Jones, About 47 years of age, dark complexion, black eyes and hair, round face has a flight blemifh in the right eye, about 5 feet 10 inch.es high, ftout made, round fhouldered, a blackfmith by trade imprifoned on a charge of horfe ftealing. They were affifted in their efcape by fome evil minded and malicious perfon or perfons opening the door from the out fide. Whoever will apprehend the faid Jones and Burney, and deliver them to the cuftody of the fubfcriber will be entitled to a reward of 10 dollars for each Jonathan Powell, J. A. C. Wafhington, 7th July, 1813.
