Stop the Runaway. A REWARD of $10 will be given for a Black Fellow named Lattuce, 5 feet 8 or 10 inches in height, very stout and strong built, 30 to 35 years of age, much given to intoxication, and talkative when in liquor ; obedient and pleasant when sober, soft voice and pleasant countenance, a Carpenter by trade, dressed in Blue Cassinett Clothes, considerably worn, and black hat. It is supposed he left Natchez about the 20th of Octo-ber, on a boat freighed with hogs, for New Or-leans, and carried his tools and chest with him, and probably had 4 or 5 dollars in cash, and pass-ed himself as a freeman the above reward, and [?] reasonable expenses will be paid, if secured in Jail, so that I get him again. JOHN M. WHITNEY. November 1, 1824 45—
