71 NEGROES FOR SALE. I HAVE. just received an addition to my former Negroes, making my present lot about 40 in number, consisting of field hands, house servants, carriage drivers, two carpenters and a blacksmith. I expect to receive in the course of the next twelve days, an addition-al lot of about 30 likely Negro men and boys. I have now a large lot of women and girls on hand. Those wishing to purchase I promise to make it to their interest to call on me before they purchase. I will take good New Orleans acceptances, payable in 6 or 8 months. I have also a carri-age and horses for sale, and also a small single horse rockaway carriage for sale. JOHN D. JAMES. Forks of the Roads, Natchez, April 30, 1849 37-4t
