RUNAWAY. FROM the subscriber, in Madison county, on or about the 20th July last, a NEGRO MAN slave. He is nearly, or quite six feet high, has rather a long face, thick lips, a little stooped in the shoulders, is quite thick through the shoulders, and is in every way well made. He does not talk very plain, and has been recently cupped under the left nipple, the marks of which are probably still visi-ble. He is a carpenter by trade. He will proba-bly make his way to Virginia or to a free State. A liberal reward will be paid for the apprehen-tion of said Negro, on delivery to me at Canton, or to Wm. McCutchen & Co., Vicksburg. Aug. 11.—[?]&tf D.M. FULTON.
