TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS REWARD WILL be given for the apprehension of the boy JERRY, who ranaway from my plantation, near Edwards' Depot, Miss., April 15th. Jerry is about 25 years of age, between 5 1/2 and 6 feet high, a copper color, wieighs about 150 pounds; when last heard from he was in Vicksburg. I bought said boy from John M. Clarkson, a trader in New Orleans. I do not think that he will own my name, or that he was with me long enough to describe where I live. He had when he left home, a grey plush cap, and also a black fur hat. My opin-ion is, that he will try to get on board a boat, and make his way up the river, as he is originally from the Salt Works in Virginia—he is a cooper by trade. I have owned him so short a time that I do not know of any particular marks on him. myI—[?]3t;3t*
