On THURSDAY, 11th May, at 10 o'clock A.M. at Natchez, The House and Lot on which the sub-scriber now resides, The dwelling is 36 by 32 feet, with galleries in front and rea[?] a separate house for servants, bath house, meat house, fowl house, stable and granary, with a small gar-den in a very flourishing condition ; the buildings on this lot are all new, having been all put up on the last year. Also, all the Household Furniture, Consisting of beds, bedding, tables, chairs, one elegant mahogany book case, one new first rate eight-day clock, &c. &c. Eight Negroes, Men and Women. Among which are, a good dray man, one first rate hostler, and a good gardener, one rough carpenter, a cook, washwoman, &c. &c. Four Horses, two Mules, one Horse Cart & Harness complete for 3 beasts, and one Cow and Calf. A lease of 9 yeasr of the Blacksmith Shop now occupied by col. Eastman, with 2 sets of Tool and a quantity of Stone Coal, &c And on FRIDAY, the 12th of May, at 10 o'clock, at the Landing. The Lot & Spacious Warehouse Now in the occupancy of the subscriber, together with all the fixtures therein, also, 16 Pieces Superfine BROAD CLOTH. A quantity of STONE COAL, and A large lot of BOAT LUMBER, &c. &c. 100 Acres of Land on Lake Concordia, Adjoining lands of Judge Perkins, 25 acres of which are under under cultivation. Indisputable titles will be given to all this property. Immediate possession will be given of all this property, with the exception of the Ware House, which will be left at the option of the purchaser to receive rent for months, or defer the possession for that time; in order to give time to close the business transacting in it. TERMS OF SALE. All sums under 100 cash, and above $100, one third cash, one third 6 months, and the remaining third 12 months with negotiable notes payable in bank & endorsed to the satisfaction of H. Postlewaite, Esq. who will effect the sale together with mortgage until final pay-cent. AUGUSTUS GRISWOLD. N. B.
