NEGROES AT AUCTION. BY STOCKMAN & TAINTOR. ON Saturday, 20th inst., at the Auction Store, will be sold to the highest bidder for cash, for the purpose of closing out the stock of a trader, ten ve-ry Likely Slaves, viz: Betsy, aged 36, and infant child—is a good Cook and Washer. Elizabeth, aged 19 John, " 16 Sidney, " 14 Lucinda " 12 Squire, " 9 } Children of Betsy. Le Roy, " 16 Sarah his sister, 10 Matilda, " 26 Very likely, is a superior sempstress and first rate Washer and Ironer. The above are all sound and very desirable Ne-groes, and are offered at Auction only for the purpose of closing the lot speedily. Should the weather prove unfavorable the sale will be postponed until Tuesday 23d inst. feb 18 c2
