Chocta[?] Agenyc, Nov. 14, 1823, BROUGHT to this Agency two NEGRO MEN as run-aways, viz. Abner, a Yellow Fellow, About 27 years of age, [?] f[?]et 8 inches high, heavy made. Jeptha, a full Black, About 28 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, of a common make— a shoemaker This negro, they say, ran away from John Vardner, near Vicks-burgh, on the Mississippi, as they were on their way from Williamsburgh, Virginia, to Natchez.
