A REWARD OF FIFTY DOLLARS WILL be given for apprehending and delivering to me, in the City of Nat-chez, (Miffiffippi Territory) a certain Ne-gro Man named MARK, about five feet ten inches high, black com-plection, extraordinary well made, he is much marked on the fide and back with the whip, about 30 years of age, is a tannr by trade, plays tolerable well on the violin, and is [?] of company. The fellow is so well known by every person in Natchez, that it is fear [?]ly neceffary to defcribe him. I was told by a lady from New Orleans, who formerly lived on the City of Natchez, that laft Monday, (the 11th of Auguft) that faw and talked with him, about 15 miles from New-Orleans, on lake St. John's and that he faid he was going to the Havanna or Pa[?]faeola. I expect he will make fome ftay to New-Orleans. The lady faid the Negro Fel-low was with two Spaniards, who faid they had brought him from Natchez, and feemed to have fome authority over him. They had their canoe haulued from the Miffiffippi to the lake above New-Orleans, as they informed the woman. I fuppofe the Spaniards has perfuaded the fellow off, to get him where they can fell him. He may be eafily caught by making friend of Phoebe (free Stephen's wife) in Or[?]leans, if he be there—fhe may be found, by applying to Ham Winn, of that place. He ran-away on the night of the 4th inft. Should he be taken up out of the Miffiffippi and Orleans Territories, I will give a reward of ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS, on his delivery as above. JOHN WA[?] Auguft 16, 1806.
