The slave WILLIS ran away from Daniel's residence in Woodville; bright mulatto; age 25; stout built; 5 feet 8 inches tall; "intelligent countenance;" answers quick when spoken to; has a scar on his right wrist produced from an inflam-mation; has worked at the tanning business for several years; had with him a variety of good cloth-ing— "no doubt will make a genteel appearance".
