Runaway in Jail. WAS committed to the Jail of Claiborne co., Miss., as a runaway, a negro man who calls his name PETER. Said boy is 5 feet 6 inches high, about 19 years old, black colour, rather slim, a small scar between the eyes, white cotton lindsey pants, over coat the same. Says he is the team driver, belongs to Horace O. Blackman, of Yazoo county, Miss. The owner of the above negro is hereby notified to ome forward and comply with the law in such cases made and provided, or he will be dealt with accordingly. R. M. MOORE, Sheriff and Jailor C. C.
