St. Ann’s Workhouse, Aug. 13, 1805. ESCAPED this morning early, immediately after turning out the negroes to work (having filed one link of his chain through the night before), , CUFFEE, a stout well made black fellow, a cooper by trade, late the property of Flat-Point Estate, in this parish, about five feet or six inches high; he was sentenced by a slave-court for life the 30th of July last. Any person who will secure him and deliver him at the workhouse shall receive One Doubloon reward, and all reasonable charges, from GEO. FISHER, Sup.
