Ten Dollars Reward RAN away from the Subscriber on Sunday the 5th of March, intant, a colored Man, calling himseld James Johnson, had on when he went away a farr hat, brown cloth coat and vest, grey linsey pantaloons, coarse shoes with a number of nails driven in the heels and soals -- he is a Blacksmith by trade, he has lost his fore teeth, is very forward in company and often endeavors to amuse them by imitating (with his voice) the sounds of the violin ; Whoever will take up said runaway and deliver him to his master living in Marksborough, Hardwick Township, Sussex County, or confine him in any jail in the State of New Jersey, and give inforation so that his master may get him again, Shall be entitled to the above reward and reasonale charges for their trouble.
