30 Dollars Reward. Runaway from the subscriber on Monday last, the 25th inst. a negro man, named Joshua, 6 feet 2 or 3 inches high. He is about thirty years of age, black complexion and well made. He has very remarkable large feet, and a scar mark over his left eye. He is a cooper by trade, plays tolerably well on the fiddle, of which he is very fond. He had on when he went away white negro cotton jacket and trowsers[sic] almost new, but suppose he will shift them occasionally. I will give the above reward to any person that will deliver him to me, or secure him so that I get him. All persons and masters of vessels are forwarned from employing, harbouring, or carrying the said fellow at their peril. Stephen Cabarrus. Chowan county, Jan. 26, 1808. 3t 10t
