$200 REWARD.<THE above reward will be given for the apprehension and delivery of Negroes DICK and MARIETTA, or 100 Dollars for the delivery of either. DICK left my premises in July, 1851, is of a bright bacon color, five feet ten or eleven inches in height, twenty-two years of age, and a Carpenter by trade. I have every reason to believe said Negro is in the county of Chowan, he having served an apprenticeship in Edenton under Myles Treadwell, a slave. MARIETTA left my premises on the 15th of the past month, is of rather dark complexion, below the medium height of women, twenty-three years of age and has a small scar under the inner corner of the left eye. Said girl is quite intelligent and effeminate; having been accustomed only to needle-work, her hands are quite small and very soft. When she left she had a large quantity of fine clothing, and always dressed neatly. She no doubt made her way towards Hertford, hoping to meet with some assistance in making her escape; and will endeavor to pass herself off as free and if possible make an effort to reach a Free State. ROBERT C. JENKINS, Agent For Miss Emily A. Copeland Durants Neck, December 4th, 1852.---tf
