5 Cts. [Cents] Reward AND NO THANKS ON the 7th instant a boy bound as an apprentice to the Tailoring business, 15 years of age, by the name of Wm. [William] ALBERTO HUMPHRYS, left the employment of the subscribers living in Rutherfordton, N. C. without any reasonable cause, since which time he has not returned. The above reward of Five cents and no thanks will be given for his delivery at our office in Rutherfordton, within any reasonable time. All persons are hereby forwarned from trading with or harboring said boy, as we will not be liable for any of his contracts, and will enforce the law against any such as may be offenders against its wise regulations on this behalf.
