- Three Gallon Jar. Inscribed “Dave / April 5 / 1855”. Also inscribed “LM” with “/ /” slash marks and three punctuates ***” as capacity marks. This beautifully glazed two-handled jar is distinguished by the well-tooled rim and shoulder treatment. The “Dave” signature and date are executed with an extraordinarily bold flourish.
